AKSU Post UTME Requirements
Akwa Ibom State University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various full-time and part-time degree programs for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Only students who score the required JAMB cut-off mark for the Akwa Ibom State University and choose the Akwa Ibom State University as their first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply for admission. The minimum admission cut-off mark is 140.
Those who did not choose the University and are willing to change and make Akwa Ibom State University their first choice institution on JAMB portal are also eligible to apply for admission.
In addition, candidates must obtain at least FIVE CREDIT passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. However, some AKSU courses don’t require credit in Mathematics.
The school management advised all prospective students to adhere strictly to the admission guidelines and obtain the necessary clarifications. Any student who fails to participate in the PUTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

How to Apply for Akwa Ibom State University Post UTME Form 2023/2024
- Visit AKSU screening portal at https://aksu.edu.ng/app/
- Enter your Jamb Registration Number.
- Proceed to make payment of N2000 registration fee (excluding bank charges).
Note: Payment can be made via Debit card or Bank Deposit Nationwide. If payment is made at the bank, repeat steps 1-3 then continue with registration. - Click to upload your passport-sized photograph (passport must be between 20kB and 50kB).
- Enter your O-level result details (School Name, Exams Year, Exam Type, Exam batch (Internal/External) and grades for each subject).
Note: Awaiting results candidates are to select the awaiting result option from the exam type drop-down and leave the O-level details fields empty. - After entering the O-level result details click Next.
- Upload the Scanned copies of your documents (Certificate of Origin, Original Jamb Result, O-level Result, Certificate of medical fitness, JAMB DE printout(for DE only) ) in jpg format with a minimum size of 120kB and a maximum of 150kB.
- Preview the details entered to ensure it is correct.
- After confirmation, click the ‘Finish’ button to generate the registration confirmation slip.
