Bauchi State University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various full-time and part-time degree programs for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Only students who score the required JAMB cut-off mark for the Bauchi State University and choose the Bauchi State University as their first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply for admission. The minimum admission cut-off mark is 140.
Those who did not choose the University and are willing to change and make Bauchi State University their first choice institution on JAMB portal are also eligible to apply for admission.
In addition, candidates must obtain at least FIVE CREDIT passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. However, some BASUG courses don’t require credit in Mathematics.

- Click on New Application.
- Enter your name, and a valid phone number (ensure that it is your phone number for it will be used in subsequent communication with you).
- You will be redirected to the login page.
- Use your phone number as your Username as well as your password.
- Confirm your information on the page and proceed to select a payment method.
- After a successful payment, you would proceed to fill your application form. You are required to enter your personal information including your name and other relevant information. A valid phone number is required which is going to be the primary communication medium in regard to your application.
- You are required to upload your recent passport photograph that is very clear and with a plain background. The picture should be a JPEG format and not more than 50kb in size
